Welcome to
Caregivers at home...
Please bear with us as we build this site and forums to help
other caregivers and ourselves to cope with the tremendous
strain of caring for a loved one with a debilitating disease.
It's a very tough situation and hard to deal with at times.
This is being put together for love. We all care very much for
those closest to us and it's heartbreaking to watch someone
die from Cancer, Alzheimer's, Dementia and other medical
problems.
My name is
Raymond Roy, I am a geek who runs a computer help forum and I
own "The Raptor Pit". My wife Vanessa & I are both
taking care of our parents in different states. She thought it
would be great if we could talk and vent to people with the
same affliction. I set this up so we could talk openly about
our problems and save the shrink money for more important
things like medications for us...
You know what I mean.
My hope is
that you get some comfort, no matter how small by visiting our
forums and talking to those with almost the same problems...
The forums link is at the top of the page. Stop by and tell us
your story, read ours and others. For the caregivers who cant
get out of the house, these forums were made for you.
Pass the
word.... God Bless
us all
Ray &
Vanessa
